So, my blog has been totally abandoned for so long! The reason I have always given myself for suddenly stopping blogging is time. I often find myself too busy to write, even though I know writing is the best way to reflect and find answers to the things I engage with at work. Nevertheless, deep inside, I understand that time is just an excuse—no more, no less!

After two years of studying in the Netherlands, I came back to my home country and worked for a young e-learning company, just as I had dreamed. However, e-learning is still in its infancy in Vietnam, and because of this, my company has faced many difficulties in defining itself in the market, leading to less and less investment in e-learning products.

This is actually the root of the problem: I lost interest in writing my own reflections on what I have experienced at work in terms of e-learning and instructional design.

After walking in confusion and wondering what I could do for the company in this difficult stage, I realized that I should first help myself gain a clearer view of the field of e-learning in general, and of the e-learning market in Vietnam in particular. Returning to the blog is one of the ways I believe can help me improve myself in this situation.

So, it was good for me to have a break and then recognize that it’s even better to come back. I am now looking forward to sharing more and more of my reflections in this challenging but fascinating field.
